Park in Worcester, MA. Although rain fell from the sky, the
spirit of those that attended were not dampened. Children and adults
alike enjoyed the wide array of activities and entertainment. We'd like
to thank all of our
sponsors, participants, performers, volunteers and everyone who attended.
Who We Are
The Worcester County Fathers & Family Network was created out of the concern for the lack of available services to support the role of fathers. Established in 1999, the Network?s objectives are:
- Heighten the perception of the importance of the role fathers play in the emotional and physical health of their children.
- Raise community awareness of the need to develop services for fathers.
- Improve collaboration and information sharing between providers so that services may be made available to fathers and their families.
- Identify gaps in the delivery and availability of services and to develop new services to assist fathers.
